ENGINEERING recruitment company TechConsult UK, based at The Wilton Centre near Redcar, east Cleveland, which operates in the offshore, fabrication and maintenance, process, shipbuilding and civil engineering industries, has appointed Lynne McMahon as its office manager. The company has also named Sarah Myles, 20, as its new office administrator.
■ PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Newcastle has made Patricia Pironti a director.
She is a tax director, specialising in business change and transfer pricing, providing services to North- East companies with an overseas presence that are looking to operate taxeffectively.
Fellow director John Kilner, who works in the performance improvement consulting team in Newcastle, specialises in helping clients improve operational performance and deliver business transformations.
He has worked with some of the leading companies in the North and nationally and has experience across a number of sectors.
■ The Royal Bank of Scotland has appointed James Cornell as director of commercial banking covering the Tees Valley, which encompasses south Durham and as far south as Northallerton. Mr Cornell, who is orginally from Teesside, will lead a team of 12. He has 19 years experience at RBS, having started his career in the bank’s branch network in Harrogate.
