AN equestrian centre hosted Easter activities at the weekend, in aid of a disabled riding club that is based there.
Young volunteers with Wear Valley RDA (Riding for the Disabled Association) organised a horseback Easter egg hunt at the Riding Centre for Special People, in Escomb, near Bishop Auckland.
They also made and sold cakes and hot drinks, ran a raffle with prizes donated by businesses at Bishop Auckland Shopping Park and held an egg decorating competition.
The Easter Sunday activities raised £280 for the group, which improves the health and wellbeing of people with a range of disabilities through riding.
