NEW ground has been blessed for burials at a North-East cemetery.
The consecration ceremony at Belmont Cemetery, off Broomside Lane, Belmont, Durham, took place this morning (Wednesday, July 23), led by the Right Reverend Mark Bryant, the Bishop of Jarrow.
The event was organised by Belmont Parish Council and light refreshments followed afterwards in Belmont Parish Hall.
