TWO rescue puppies were on hand to welcome panto stars who visited a rehoming centre to highlight the good work staff and volunteers do.
Lurchers Adam and Eve were brought to the Dogs Trust Darlington along with their sister, Noelle, five days before Christmas as part of an unwanted litter.
Now 13-weeks-old, the trio are a bundle of energy and ready for new homes.
Lauren Varnham, who plays Dorothy in the Chuckles of Oz pantomime at Darlington Civic Theatre, and Wicked Witch Emma Francis made a visit to the Sadberge centre to show their support and find out more about the work done by staff.
