CONCERNS are growing for the safety of a teenage boy missing from home.

Darren Patrick Boyd is believed to be in “an emotional frame of mind” and has not been seen by his family since 8pm last night, January 28.

The 15-year-old, from the Boroughbridge Road area of York, is 5ft 3in tall with a slim build, short dark-brown hair and green eyes.

It is believed he is wearing a navy blue Nike hooded top, light grey Nike tracksuit bottoms and black-navy blue Nike trainers.

Inspector Andy Richardson, said: “Darren’s family are worried sick about him and they need to know he is safe and well.

“We are doing all we can to support the family while the police team is actively searching for him across the city.”

He added: “Darren, if you see or hear this appeal, please get in touch with the police or your family as soon as possible. You are not in any trouble, we just need confirmation that you are ok and not come to any harm.”
