A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm after a teenager suffered serious head and eye injuries in an unexplained incident outside a school.
Steven Gill, 17, was found on a pathway outside Normanby Primary School, Middlesbrough just before midnight on Tuesday, September 22.
He had suffered from bleeding on the brain, as well as well as a broken nose and cheekbone.
The teenager needed several days of treatment Middlesbrough's James Cook University Hospital.
Cleveland Police announced on Monday that a 22-year-old man had been arrested and released on bail pending further enquiries until October 14.
