A MAN in his 40s died after his car crashed down an embankment after what was believed to be a medical incident.
The 44-year-old was driving a silver Ford Fiesta on the A689 westbound close to Wolviston Services, near Billingham, Teesside, when his car left the road and went down an embankment.
Motorists stopped to help following the crash, at about 10pm on Wednesday and he was given medical aid by paramedics but he died at the scene.
Police would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the silver Ford Fiesta prior to it leaving the road.
Any witnesses are asked to contact PC Paul Dixon from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 177070.
