Firefighters dealt with an incident at Saltburn Cliff Tramway on Monday (January 15) after smoke was seen billowing from the main building of the tourist attraction.
Cleveland Fire Brigade were called to Saltburn at about 10.30am, following reports of smoke coming from the building at the bottom of the tramway.
From images, taken by Paul Waugh, firefighters can be seen rushing into a building, while smoke is seen billowing out of the door of the building.
In other images, three fire engines can be seen surrounding the building.
Cleveland Fire Brigade have confirmed that they are still at the scene of the incident - but have managed to dampen down the fire.
A spokesperson for the fire brigade said: "Cleveland Fire Brigade was called on 15/01/2024 at 10.33am to an incident on Saltburn Bank.

"Three fire engines are currently in attendance from Redcar, Saltburn, and Skelton. Four breathing apparatus (BA) and a hose reel are in use. Crews remain on scene.”
Redcar and Cleveland Council have also confirmed that no one was injured during the incident.

A spokesperson for the council: "The Fire Brigade is dealing with a fire at the bottom station of the Saltburn Cliff Tramway.
"Staff found smoke coming from the Tramway when they opened the station at around 10.30 this morning.
"No one was injured and the Promenade remains closed in the area around the Tramway while the Fire Brigade deal with the incident."
