The home of The Traitors at Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands might be a bit too far to visit from County Durham.

But there is an impressive location giving “Traitor vibes” only a short drive away from the North East county, located in the Lake District (and you can stay in it).

We are now into the third week of The Traitors series two which will return to BBC One tonight (January 17).

The BBC has certainly kept fans on their toes as last week ended with Diane being given the “poison chalice" by a Traitor in the latest twist – but did she drink from it and will she be “murdered?”

The next episode is now only hours away, where we are bound to see more of the famous castle where most of The Traitors has been filmed since it began.

However, the castle where the "game of deceit" is hosted has captured the interest of viewers as searches for “Traitors castle” are up 319% in the past three months, and searches for “Scottish castles for hire” have spiked by 44%.

Big House Experience, home to "stunning" large houses, manor homes and castles in the UK, has shared six properties available to rent that all serve a Traitor's vibe.
