A top BBC Radio 1 DJ will play a 'unique' show at a North East swimming pool with a giant inflatable.
Charlie Hedges – presenter of BBC Radio 1’s Dance Anthems – is set to DJ poolside at Sunderland Aquatic Centre on Saturday, March 23.
The DJ will play two 90-minute sets at the state-of-the-art centre, managed by Everyone Active in partnership with Sunderland City Council.
The sets will take place from 4pm-5.30pm and 6.30pm-8pm, with music and top hits creating an 'irresistible atmosphere'.
Alongside the event, the Atlantis Adventure Mega Inflatable will be out for the local community to use – the biggest indoor inflatable in the North East.
There will also be a 'fun and floats' area alongside a shallower chill-out area of the pool.
Tickets for the event cost £12.50 per person and can be booked by calling 0191 514 4300, with availability limited.
Charlie Hedges said: “I’m super excited to be playing at Sunderland Aquatic Centre for what will be a brilliant event.
