Spennymoor manager Jason Ainsley says that their FA Cup preliminary round tie at Tadcaster Albion is “far from easy.”
Tadcaster are sixth in the Northern Counties East League, a level below Moors, and their officials took in Moors’ 3-1 league win at Ossett Town on Monday.
“This game will be far from easy,” said Ainsley. “Tadcaster have scored 14 goals in their last three matches, including five in the last round of the cup.
“They’ve got some decent players who have been pros, such as Denny Ingram and Andrew Milne, and they’re going well in their league. We will have to be at our best to go through.”
Moors, however, have found their away form already this season, with wins at Ossett Town and Padiham in the league.
Midfielder Keith Graydon is still doubtful for Moors, while another centre midfielder, Andrew Stephenson, is unavailable.
