SUNDERLAND new-boy Ola Toivonen will start this afternoon’s Premier League game at Aston Villa on the bench.
Dick Advocaat has resisted the temptation to throw the season long loan signing from Rennes in to his starting line-up as the Black Cats look for a first league win of the campaign.
Advocaat has also brought Younes Kaboul back in to his defence at the expense of Sebastian Coates, who drops back down to the bench.
Jeremain Lens and Jermain Defoe will provide the width to lone striker Danny Graham.
