SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY are hoping to secure season-long loans for Middlesbrough duo Adam Forshaw and Adam Reach.
Having missed out on promotion when they lost the play-off final, the Owls are preparing for another season in the Championship and view Forshaw and Reach as viable targets.
Forshaw started just nine league games for Boro last season, while Reach spent all bar one month of the campaign on loan at Preston.
It is hard to envisage either player being at the heart of Aitor Karanka’s plans for the Premier League, although the Boro head coach will not be making any decisions about potential loan departures until he has had the chance to work with all of his players during pre-season.
