England’s over 40s cricket team played in Darlington on Tuesday (August 8) against Marylebone Cricket Club.

A small crowd gathered to watch the teams in action.

The England over 40s scored 209 runs for eight wickets as 45 overs were played per team.

But MCC score 210 for no wickets in 43.4 overs to win the match by ten wickets in a thrashing for England’s over 40s.

The game started at 12noon on Tuesday (August 8) at Darlington Cricket Club at Feethams.
