Two people have appeared in court charged with attempted murder after reports of someone falling from a height.

Andrew Hobson and Samantha Nunn are also accused of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent following the alleged incident last month.

The pair appeared at Teesside Crown Court after a 20-year-old suffered serious injuries in Stockton.

Nunn, 32, of Sandringham Road, Thornaby, pleaded not guilty to both charges during the short hearing.

Her co-accused, 45-year-old Hobson, was not asked to enter any pleas to the charges he is facing.
